SURF CLASSES
1. Classes must be completed within the period indicated below, counting from the date of purchase, depending on the type of package.
2. All progression lesson packages are valid for 12 months. (either group or private).
3. The validity of packages is not cumulative.
4. These deadlines may vary whenever the school is unable to teach or upon presentation of a medical certificate by the student.
1. Group classes work with a minimum of three students.
2. Classes have a maximum duration of two hours.
3. Classes have 10/15 minutes of theory and the rest of the time practical (in water).
4. Classes are not necessarily taught by the same teacher.
5. Classes may not be sold or transferred to third parties.
1. Classes are scheduled according to weather conditions and sea state, and confirmation of presence must be given one day in advance by message, via WhatsApp or in person at the school.
1. It is considered absence (class given) when the student does not attend the class, having previously confirmed his/her presence.
2. Cancelation of a class must be done one day in advance.
3. Absences can only be justified by means of a medical certificate or other justified issues.
1. In class, all material (suit, leash, wax, boots and board) is provided by the school, with the exception of the towel that must be brought by the student.
2. For hygiene reasons, it is mandatory to wear underwear/bathing clothes when the student is provided with a school suit.
3. The student is responsible for any damage to the material provided, whenever it is found to have resulted from negligence and/or misuse.
RENTALS
1. Equipment rental requires an identification
document: passport, citizen’s card, identity card, driving license, until the date of repossession of equipment.
2. Rental payment is made via PayPal, Visa,
MasterCard and cash, and it will be necessary to pay 30% of the final amount when booking the equipment.
3. The equipment must be returned undamaged, if any of the equipment is lost or damaged, we will inspect the material and provide a quote that will be deducted from the deposit amount. If a board breaks, the value of the board will be provided.
4. Returning the equipment after the defined period of three hours within the same day implies the payment of an additional 5€.
5. Liability Statement: The rental of equipment is the sole responsibility of the customers, the insurance does not cover damage to the equipment, theft and / or total damage to the equipment as well as injuries caused to third parties.
6. The material must always be returned in good condition (washed and clean, wetsuit and board);
1. Damage is considered: Any hole, cut or damaged part on any of the beginner, intermediate and advanced surfboards.
2. It is considered total loss: Any equipment or part of equipment that is returned, damaged, unusable or with altered accessories (e.g. “Leash´s, “deck” and Fins);
1. The school reserves the right to change class times for major reasons, such as an unexpected change in ocean conditions.
2. Classes start at scheduled times. If a student is late, we may have to start the class out of respect for other students, and the student may miss the class without being entitled to a refund/rescheduling.
